Proposed natural play space located in a small area of existing woodland on the new 4,500 home Wixams housing development located south of Bedford. It incorporates a small mound with embankment slide, tyre swing, 4-seater see-saw, climbing wall, granite monthlith / oak beam / rope bridge positioned over a shallow ditch curvilinear to provide a wide choice of crossing options, oak frames for den building, carved totem pole / associated seating, circular picnic table, tree trunk seats, chained ‘mobile’ seat cubes to encourage flexible play and a large piece of Timberplay ‘Climbing Forest’ equipment.
